Repair Your Credit History
There is no quick fix to repairing poor credit history. Credit scores are based on payment history, with emphasis on the recent past.
The most important thing you can do is to pay your bills on time. As you keep up your payments, this will help improve your credit score. If you can, keep outstanding balances low.
Avoid applying for new credit cards just because you have maxed out your existing credit cards. The same applies for finance agreements and loans. It is a common mistake for people to over-extend themselves. It’s better to work out a realistic budget and stick to it.
There are companies who will offer to manage debt – for a fee. Before considering this option, TBI Financial Services recommend that you seek assistance from “not for profit” Debt Management Companies.
